Nós somos Anti-Corpos, uma banda lésbica feminista do Brasil. Todos os lugares que tocamos nós tentamos criar e promover um espaço salvo para mulheres, lésbicas, inter e trans*. Isso significa que não toleramos nenhum tipo de violência em nenhuma situação, especificamente nós nossos shows. Nossa luta diária existe, também, para apoiar sobreviventes de violência. E por isso, nós não nos sentimos confortáveis em estar em um espaço que ignora a existência de violência (física, sexual, psicológica ou verbal). Isso significa que mesmo em um espaço que se diz libertário, punk, de esquerda, etc, pode estar ignorando situações de abuso. Nós achamos isso uma merda! Como alguém pode ser anti-capitalista, antifa, se essa pessoa apoia um amigo que estuprou alguém?? Estamos cansadas desse discurso que diz que esse bom companheiro “cometeu um erro” e que ele não deve ser questionado sobre essas coisas porque ele é um ótimo ativista, etc…
Estamos falando isso porque é nossa realidade no Brasil e nós vemos isso aqui também. Isso não pode continuar. Olhe para você mesmo, olhe em torno de você e ajude a dar um fim nessa situação. Por um espaço que é inclusivo de verdade!!

We are Anti-Corpos, a lesbian feminist band from Brazil. Every place we play we try to create and promote safe(r) spaces for womyn, lesbians, inter and trans*. This means that we do not tolerate any kind of violence in any situation, especially in our concerts. Our every day struggle exists also to support violence survivors. Therefore, we do not feel comfortable to be in a space that ignores the existence of violence (physical, sexual, psychological or verbal). It means that even a space that says to be libertarian, punk, leftist etc, could be ignoring situations of abuse. We think it sucks! How can one be anti-capitalist, antifa if this person supports a friend that raped someone? We are tired of the speech that says that good comrades “made a mistake” and shouldn’t be asked about this stuff because they are so good activists etc…
We are saying this cuz it’s our reality in Brazil and we saw it here too. This cannot go on. Look at yourself, look around and help giving an end to this situation. For a space that is inclusive for real!

Wir sind Anti-Corpos, eine lesbische, feministische Band aus Brasilien. Überall, wo wir spielen, versuchen wir safe(r) spaces für Frauen, Lesben, Inter und Trans* zu kreieren. Das heißt auch, dass wir keine Gewalt auf unseren Konzerten tolerieren. Unser täglicher Kampf beinhaltet die Unterstützung von Überlebenden von Gewalt, wir fühlen uns nicht wohl an Orten, die die Existenz von physischer, sexueller, psychologischer und verbaler Gewalt ignorieren. Auch Orte, die libertär, punk, links usw. genannt werden, können Missbrauch ignorieren. Das ist scheiße! Wie kann mensch Anti-Kapitalist, Antifa oder ähnliches sein, wenn mensch Leute unterstützt, die jemanden vergewaltigt haben? Wir haben die Schnauze voll, die Entschuldigungen und Ausflüchte zuhören, von wegen “Er hat einen Fehler gemacht”, “Er ist so ein guter Aktivist, macht da mal keine so große Sache draus”, und so weiter.
Wir erählen euch das, weil unsere Lebens realität in Brasilien und auch hier immer wieder von Gewaltertahrungen geprägt wurde. Das kann so nicht weiter gehen. Seid euch und anderen gegenüber aufmerksam, passt aufeinander auf und helft euch gegenseitig, um übergriffige Situationen zu beenden. Für Räume, die wirklich inklusiv sind.
